CAMPAIGN FOR FUNDS: Please help make my film happen!

I'm knocking the door of the people, with golden hearts, around the world to please help me raise a fund for my film entitled "Buwanang-Dalaw (Menstrual Period)".

Here's the link of my fund campaign:
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/buwanang-dalaw-menstrual-period

This film is a quality material which I intend to send in the International Film Festivals. But due to lack of fund, I can’t produce the film.

  • BUWANANG-DALAW (MENSTRUAL PERIOD) is a suspense-drama film that discloses the story of a 13-year old barrio lass (Elena) who suffers from menstrual psychosis, which causes her to have unusual confusions, hallucinations, and manic depressions every and during her monthly period. In the story, the life of Elena revolves around the love of her mother (Rosa), her suitor (Greg), and a 7-year old boy (Deloy). The story depicts the clash between the modern medical treatment and the barrio’s tradition and beliefs on girl’s monthly period in the Philippines. It also reveals the locals’ lack of proper medical and scientific knowledge on menstruation.

This campaign for funds to put my film into an actual production is really significant because this is one way to show the tradition and rural beliefs of Filipinos regarding girl’s menstrual period. This is also a channel to show to the world the Filipino cultural traditions. Your financial assistance will link the Filipino culture to the rest of the world.

Your support will never put into waste because I assure you of a quality and educational film that can touch the hearts and minds of all the people in the world. This can be proven through my previous full-length films that I’ve written and directed.

I’m also hoping that you will help me disseminate my fruitful campaign for possible assistance from people within your community. Please help me by sharing my campaign to your friends!

Thank you and God bless you all.
